Talent Clinic Administrator                                                                

REPORTS TO: General Director

JOB SUMMARY

 Talent Clinic Administrators will utilize the practice of developmental advising to identify candidates from diverse backgrounds in order to appropriately advise them on a broad range of candidate success processes, procedures and services. Talent Clinic Administrators provide specialized assistance with all processes related to candidate services, i.e. enrollment, assessment and placement. Talent Clinic Administrators  will have the overall management duties of the assigned Talent Clinic.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Attends monthly operation meetings with Regional Manager having a clear understanding of reports and variables that affected outcomes;
  • Supervising cadidates ; due for assessment and those already assessed
  • Ensures staff is following Human Resources policies such as cell phone and uniform policies, attendance, schedules, etc;
  • Performs document management and reviews to monitor proper document completeness;
  • Takes part in budgetary preparations and management;
  • Program planning and coordination;
  • Reviews Oral and Psycho_Screener rubrics are processed in a timely manner;
  • Provides day to day administrative support to the Talent Clinic;
  • Responds to staff inquiries when unsure of job duties, trains staff on system processes and procedures as necessary;
  • Performs all other duties as guided by African Federation HQs;
  • Works efficiently with Talent Experts, Local Director and other office staff;
  • Ensures that all employees must respond and participate to emergency situation per emergency policies and procedures;
  • Maintains physician tables, updates reports, as needed;
  • Manages to work with limited resources and personnel.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

Knowledge

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

 

  • Knowledge of a Specialized Facility administration.
  • Seven years or more of experience in a Specialized Facility .
  • Creating, implementing and evaluating Talent Assessment Prior-Reports from Psycho-Screeners.
  • Familiar with Oral, Psycho-Screen Functions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory.
  • Knowledge of instructional pedagogy.

The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

  • Demonstrated success working with educators in establishing goals, objectives and action plans to produce expected results.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to implement, monitor and adapt candidate assessment as required
  • Ability to design and instruct a program from start to finish.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and create new systems and processes.
  • A capacity to motivate and lead Talent Clinic staff in order to yield the highest performance.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback to facilitate growth of the Talent Clinic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and families.
  • Demonstrated success educating and mentoring adults and individuals transitioning into college from high school.
  • Excellent oral/written communication.

 Education and Experience

A Master’s degree required in Educational Administration or related.  A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in a business institution. The incumbent should have experience in supervision, leading and mentoring  to improve performance with clear objectives and strategies. He/she should be well versed in innovative  approaches and current technological trends.

Important Information

We are aware that this may be new to many in Africa and being a Psychologist is closest to what we do. However, even being a psychologist may not automatically make you a Talent Expert at any of the above levels.
